Around 430 students from 15 municipal schools in Cabo Frio, Armação dos Búzios, Arraial do Cabo, Iguaba Grande and São Pedro da Aldeia participated in the 2026 edition of the CaptaAção project, by Prolagos in partnership with the Carlos Scliar Institute. The activities combined art, reading and environmental education at the Casa Museu Carlos Scliar, on the banks of the Itajuru Canal, in Cabo Frio.

In the mediated visits, students produced drawings and texts on environmental preservation and responsibility in caring for nature. The Araruama Lagoon was one of the themes worked on, presented as a natural heritage of environmental, economic and cultural importance for the surrounding municipalities.

The works will be selected and the chosen ones will be awarded in a ceremony scheduled for November. The project has been carried out since 2018 and is part of the concessionaire's social responsibility programs in the Lakes Region.
