The National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) issued a warning for storms, strong winds and hail in the Lakes Region this Friday (16). The forecast indicates instability throughout the day, with the possibility of intense rain and a drop in temperature in municipalities such as Búzios, Cabo Frio, Arraial do Cabo and Saquarema.
The recommendation is that the population avoid risk areas, such as slopes and regions subject to flooding, and follow the official Civil Defense bulletins for each municipality. In case of emergency, call the Fire Department via 193.
