The second phase of construction of the federal government's mobile network may include mobile virtual network aggregators (MVNAs). The information was given by Geraldo Segatto, director of operations at Entidade Administradora da Faixa (EAF), this Tuesday (22), during the MVNO Experience, in São Paulo.

The chosen model is Security MVNO, aimed at security forces and administrative bodies of the federal government and the Federal District in 4G and 5G, gradually replacing systems such as Tetra and P25. Instead of building its own structure, EAF will partner with operators via public call.

The project may have two operators, one traditional and one aggregator, a model similar to that of the government network in France. The first phase has already been delivered in the Federal District, to the Military Police, Chamber of Deputies, Federal Senate and Army.
