Google Cloud announced that it will double technical infrastructure in Brazil by 2030. According to the company's global president, Thomas Kurian, the growth expands local processing, storage and high-performance computing capacity for artificial intelligence.
Data from an IDC study with Provokers shows that 62% of Brazilian organizations are implementing or accelerating the adoption of AI agents, but only 17% have consolidated the implementation with the necessary governance at critical stages of the business.
The company also informed that, from October 15th, Google Enterprise processes in the web version, for corporate customers, will be able to be located in Brazil, meeting data sovereignty and low latency requirements.
