President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva opened the 81st UN General Assembly, this Tuesday (22), with criticism of the lack of rules for big tech and artificial intelligence.

According to the president, it would be an unforgivable historical omission not to face the challenge of regulating big tech and AI. He stated that the platforms transfer the task of dealing with algorithms to families and cited the approval of ECA Digital.

In his speech, Lula also said that Brazil will not give in to pressure from multinationals who want to privatize Pix, commented on the advance of bets and defended counterparts for the exploration of critical minerals and rare earths. The information is from Mobile Time.
