Worker Lucas dos Santos Moreira, 36, died after spending nine days in hospital in a very serious condition, after suffering an electrical shock while installing a solar panel in Rio das Ostras. He had around 70% of his body burned.
The accident occurred on the morning of September 30, in the São Cristóvão neighborhood. Lucas was working on the roof of a residence when he allegedly touched a high voltage wire. He was rescued by the Fire Department and taken to Alberto Torres State Hospital, in São Gonçalo. The burial took place this Sunday (11).
