The Secretariat of Urban Infrastructure and Public Works of Rio das Ostras presented the initial study of the reurbanization of the Boca da Barra waterfront to Mayor Carlos Augusto Balthazar. The meeting with the department's technical team took place on Monday afternoon (21).
The study foresees new playgrounds, an outdoor gym, parking spaces, two kiosks, a public bathroom, a ramp and stairs to access the sand, a bike lane and a contemplation area facing the beach, in addition to the expansion of the road along the coast.
According to secretary Wayner Fajardo, the team will accept the requests made by the mayor, and the project will be presented to the community so that residents and traders can give their opinion. "The idea is to create a beautiful project that meets the direction of the Public Power and the demands of the population", stated the mayor.
