Prolagos began inspecting kiosks on the shores of the Lakes Region before the high season. 160 establishments mapped by IBGE will be inspected, of which 79 are already included in the concessionaire's commercial base.
The first actions, in the first half of the year, reached 15 kiosks, with five irregularities identified and nine standardizations. The work will be expanded to Cabo Frio, São Pedro da Aldeia, Armação dos Búzios, Iguaba Grande and Arraial do Cabo.
In the first half of the year alone, 310 commercial establishments were notified of irregularities in water consumption, including 13 large customers, including hotels and inns. According to Prolagos Inspection Supervisor, Fábio Soares, the objective is to guarantee water from a safe source and correct measurement of consumption.
