The Albatroz Project Visitor Center, in Cabo Frio, completes three years of operation with a free environmental education program throughout September.
Among the activities are art workshops with recyclable material, dynamics on marine biodiversity, an educational competition on the 24th and 25th and a workshop on growing native seedlings on the 26th, when a coastal cleaning effort also takes place, from 9am to 1pm.
The program ends on the 27th, with a book exchange fair on ecology and a special edition of the arts workshop to mark the arrival of spring. The project has been working to reduce the incidental capture of seabirds since 1990 and has been sponsored by Petrobras since 2006.
