An inspection on BR-101 seized 42 kilos of marijuana and 20 liters of loló smell in the early hours of this Wednesday (23), in Casimiro de Abreu, in the Lagos Region. Two men were detained.
The approach took place at km 203 of the highway. When opening the trunk of the car, Federal Highway Police agents smelled a strong smell of marijuana and found bags and gallons of the narcotic material.
According to the PRF, the driver and passenger said they would take the cargo to Cabo Frio and Barra de São João. The two were taken to the 121st Police Station, in Casimiro de Abreu, which is investigating the case.
