The City of Cabo Frio completed the paving of almost 2.5 kilometers of Estrada do Guriri, on RJ-102, between the Jacaré and Gamboa interchange and the Ogiva interchange.
The stretch had potholes and a lack of signage and had been causing inconvenience and accidents for drivers and residents who use the road daily. DER-RJ had started emergency repairs on the highway on September 12th.
Although RJ-102 is a state highway, with maintenance under the responsibility of the State Government, the City Hall decided to intervene in view of the road conditions and the risks for those circulating in the region.
