The mayor of Armação dos Búzios, Alexandre Martins, monitored the asphalt paving services on Avenida José Bento Ribeiro Dantas, on the stretch between Escola Municipal Nicomedes Theotônio Vieira and Rua da Linguiça, in Manguinhos. The operation was also monitored by the Secretary of Works and Projects, Marcelo Junior.
According to City Hall, the section underwent milling before the asphalt was applied and the schedule needed to be adjusted due to the rain in recent days. With the break in the rain, the teams intensified their work, including at night, to reduce impacts on traffic.
Secretary Marcelo Junior informed that the department will work during the day and at night, applying asphalt and filling potholes in different parts of the city, depending on the weather conditions.
