The flora of Búzios will be the subject of a lecture this Friday (25th), at 2pm, at Viveiro Aretê. The meeting will be led by architect, landscaper and researcher Heloisa Dantas, who has been studying the municipality's vegetation for more than two decades.
The researcher's work gave rise to field surveys, records and the formation of a herbarium, and resulted in the first edition of the Buziana Flora Catalog, with 19 species found in the municipality.
Viveiro Aretê produces native seedlings used in forest recovery and landscaping projects, with 62 species from the Atlantic Forest. Participation in the lecture requires prior confirmation of attendance.
