A joint operation carried out this Tuesday (22) closed a property that operated as a guesthouse and blocked construction without authorization from the city hall, near the Lido bar, in Praia do Forte, in Cabo Frio.
The inspection was carried out by the Superintendence of Inspection of Private Works, with support from Procon Cabo Frio and the Municipal Civil Guard. The work was blocked due to lack of occupancy permit and the property did not have the documentation required to operate, nor basic safety items or the control provided for in the ECA for the children who were on site.
The inspection ordered the rooms to be vacated immediately, and accommodation remains closed until legal requirements are met. Those responsible for the property could not be reached for comment.
