Residents of Arraial do Cabo will be able to use municipal public transport for free in the first round of the 2026 General Elections, this Sunday (4), from 6am to 8pm.
Regular lines 701, 702, 703, 704 and 705 maintain their routes, and the frequency of vehicles must be equal to or greater than that normally practiced on weekdays, as informed to the Regional Electoral Court of Rio de Janeiro.
The gratuity should also be valid in any second round, scheduled for October 25. Resolution No. 23.751/2026 of the TSE determines the free offer of urban and intermunicipal public transport in both shifts.
