A woman was arrested on Wednesday (23), in Arraial do Cabo, suspected of stalking and trying to rape another woman. According to the victim's statement, the suspect started an argument, broke into the residence and used a knife and scissors to threaten her.
The incident was attended to by the Municipal Civil Guard, the Maria da Penha Patrol and the Ronda Ostensiva Municipal (Romu). The case reached the security forces after the two women went to the Arraial do Cabo General Hospital, where the medical team activated the women's protection protocol.
The suspect was taken to the Specialized Police Station for Women's Assistance (Deam), where she remained detained at the disposal of the Court. The case remains under investigation.
