The court ordered the preventive detention of a woman accused of stalking, attacking and sexually violating another woman in Arraial do Cabo. The measure was obtained by the Action Center before the Custody Hearing Center of the Public Ministry of the State of Rio de Janeiro and determined on Friday (25).
According to the case report, the accused entered the victim's house without authorization and used a knife to force her to perform a sexual act. The woman managed to free herself and ran to the bathroom, where the two got into a physical fight. A neighbor heard the calls for help and intervened.
The decision records that, before the episode, the accused had already displayed insistent and invasive behavior, with unrequited calls and messages. The Public Ministry pointed out the risk of new episodes if she remained free.
