The band Jota Quest is one of the attractions revealed for New Year's Eve 2026/2027 in Cabo Frio. The group will perform on January 2nd, in Praia do Forte, extending the city's end of year program. The announcement was made by Mayor Dr. Serginho, who indicated that the list of artists is not yet complete. The country duo Zé Neto and Cristiano are confirmed for the night of December 31st, while the band Roupa Nova is scheduled to perform on December 30th, during the pre-New Year's Eve period.
Formed in Belo Horizonte in 1993, Jota Quest built a trajectory in Brazilian pop rock with songs that reached different generations. Among the group's successes are Fácil, Dias Melhor, Só Hoje, Amor Maior and Do Seu Lado.
