An approximately 1.5-meter alligator was rescued by the Environmental Group in a mangrove area on Japanese Island, Cabo Frio.
The presence of the animal in a stretch with circulation of bathers and children motivated the action of the agents, who carried out the capture and returned the reptile to the natural habitat.
During the procedure, the agents observed that the alligator did not have the left front paw, with an already healed lesion.
