A man was arrested this Saturday (26) suspected of attacking his ex-partner in Unamar, in the district of Tamoios, in Cabo Frio. The victim received medical care in the region.
According to the Military Police, the team was called after the woman entered the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) and reported the attack. During the episode, she allegedly defended herself and injured the suspect. After assistance, the victim told the police the address where the attacks allegedly took place.
The agents went to the property and found the ex-partner inside the house. He was initially taken to the Specialized Police Station for Women's Assistance (Deam) and then to the 126th Police Station, remaining in custody at the disposal of the Court. The case was registered as bodily injury against the woman in the context of domestic violence.
