A man was arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking on Saturday (10), in the Bosque neighborhood of Búzios. The Military Police caught the suspect delivering narcotic material to an individual on a motorcycle, who fled.
During the approach, 15 strips of marijuana (99 grams) and R$25 in cash were seized. The suspect admitted to the narcotics trade and reported that he wore an electronic ankle bracelet, indicating where he hid the rest of the material.
The man tried to bribe the police officers by offering a weekly sum to be released, according to the police record. He already had previous notes for trafficking and association for trafficking. The man remained in prison for drug trafficking (art. 33 of the Law 11.343/2006). The case was registered at the Búzios police station.
