A man was arrested red-handed after being accused of stalking and threatening a woman who had a protective measure against him in São Pedro da Aldeia. To protect himself, the victim hid in a house under construction before calling the Maria da Penha Patrol.
The incident began after a report made via the institutional telephone number of Patrulha Maria da Penha. With the information, teams from the Municipal Civil Guard and Ronda Ostensiva Municipal (ROMU) carried out searches and located the suspect. The man was taken to the 125th DP, where the incident was recorded, and then taken to the 127th DP, in Armação dos Búzios. During the service, previous records of occurrences under the Maria da Penha Law were identified.
After the procedures, he remained at the disposal of Justice and the victim was taken to a safe location. The report tried to contact the defense, but was unable to locate it.
