The Municipal Civil Guard of Búzios concluded, late this Sunday night (4), Operation Democracy, carried out during the voting period for the 2026 General Elections. With a staff of more than 80 agents, in addition to the ordinary staff on duty, the corporation was present in all voting locations in the municipality.
The teams worked in the organization of the surroundings, in the ordering of the flow of people and vehicles and in supporting security, contributing to the smooth running of the electoral process. Six crossings near the busiest polling places also received attention and coverage, ensuring greater control of traffic and pedestrian circulation.
The performance took place according to the established operational planning. With the closure of the operation, the corporation began preparations for the second shift.
