More than 80 families from the Peres Gidalte community, in Casimiro de Abreu, receive this Thursday (24) the General Property Registry for their homes, an achievement they have been waiting for for more than 25 years. Delivery will be at 6pm, on Rua Juracy Ferreira Pinto.
The regularization was carried out in partnership between the Institute of Land and Cartography of the State of Rio de Janeiro and the City of Casimiro de Abreu. In 2024, residents had already received the Administrative Term of Recognition of Ownership and Housing.
The process progressed with the approval of the Urban Land Regularization of Social Interest project and the issuance of certificates by the Property Registry Office. The document increases the legal security of families regarding the place where they live.
