More than 33.4 million voters who did not turn out in the 1st round of the 2026 Elections can vote normally in the 2nd round, on October 25th. The Superior Electoral Court considers each stage an independent election for attendance purposes.
Even those who are going to vote in the 2nd round need to justify their absence from the 1st round until December 3rd via e-Título, Título Net or electoral registry. The justification is individual per shift, whoever missed both shifts will need two applications.
Absence in three consecutive elections may result in the cancellation of the title. Voting is mandatory for those between the ages of 18 and 70.
