A garbage collection truck from Cabo Frio City Hall overturned on Sunday afternoon (27), in front of the TerraMar condominium, in Unamar, in the second district of the municipality. According to the information released, the driver became ill while driving, lost control of the vehicle and ended up crashing on the banks of the Amaral Peixoto Highway.
There were no injuries. According to the report, the driver managed to direct the truck to a point where the tip would not cause a major incident and remained lucid at the scene.
The driver was rescued and taken to the Tamoios Emergency Care Unit (UPA). The information disclosed does not detail what caused the discomfort or inform the health status of the worker after the treatment.
