Cabo Frio City Hall will expand the Men's Reflective Group, GR Homem, to receive men referred by the Judiciary after the granting of protective measures in cases of domestic violence.
The new flow was aligned in a meeting on Monday (21), at the District Forum, between the Secretariat of Public Policies for Women and the judge of the Domestic Violence Court, Danilo Marques Borges. The priority will be cases of bodily injury, threats and non-compliance with protective measures.
In this administration, 25 men have already been through the project, which forms the third group, and the expectation is to triple the number of people served. The work is educational and does not replace the legal measures applied in each process.
