The public lighting on Estrada de Campos Novos, in the São Jacinto neighborhood, in Cabo Frio, is being modernized with LED luminaires. To date, 50 points have been covered in a stretch of approximately 1.4 kilometers.
New cabling was also installed in 28 locations to adapt the electrical network to the new luminaires. The road has around 380 lighting points and is an important connection between Jardim Esperança and Tamoios.
The services began last week and will continue in stages, with completion scheduled for October 15th. LED technology has greater durability and lower energy consumption compared to conventional systems.
