The Municipality of Cabo Frio will hold a public hearing to discuss the proposals to amend the Code of Works and Buildings and the Land Installment Law of the municipality. The meeting will take place on November 9, at 2:00 pm, in the auditorium of the City Hall, and the participation is open to the population, construction professionals, professional associations, entrepreneurs and other interested parties.
The proposal is to revise the standards, simplify procedures and give more clarity and security to the rules related to urban development. The proposals have already been analyzed by the Council of Cities (ConCID). After the hearing and the consolidation of contributions, it is expected that they will be forwarded to the City Council in 2026. The revision of the Zoning Law, which today follows Law No. 116/1979, will be the next step.
