The Municipality of Armação dos Búzios ensured the free and undistinguished provision of municipal collective public transport, from 7am to 8pm, on voting days for the 2026 General Elections. The measure was made official by Decree No. 3,193, of September 30, published in the municipality's Official Gazette.
The gratuity is valid in the first round, on October 4, and, if there is a second round, on the 25th. It is not necessary to present a voter's card, proof of voting or any other documentation related to the elections. The regular system vehicles serve the same lines and locations as the business days, without reducing itineraries or fleet.
