The Búzios Municipal Health Department, through the Mental Health Center and the Beija-Flor Clinic, will hold the Cannabis Medicine seminar at the SUS in Búzios on November 5th. The meeting will be from 9am to 4pm, at the Study Center of the Dr. Rodolpho Perissé Municipal Hospital, in São José.
The program brings together five lectures on the history of cannabis in Brazil, regulation and judicialization, cannabis and autism, cultivation in the municipality and pharmacology, quality control and treatment with medicinal oils.
According to the City Hall, the objective is to promote the technical debate on cannabis medicine and the challenges related to regulation, research and the possibilities of application in the Unified Health System.
