The Municipality of Armação dos Búzios inaugurated this Thursday (24) the third unit of the Casa da Mulher Buziana, at Polo José Gonçalves. The space is named after Cenira de Carvalho Pinto and is located at Avenida José Gonçalves, nº 4, next to the Correio.
The new unit will serve women from the José Gonçalves, Baía Formosa and São José neighborhoods, with reception activities, professional training and encouragement of female autonomy. Entrepreneurship immersions with Sebrae, elderly care courses and training with Senac in the areas of beauty and technology are planned.
The program also includes literacy, creative sewing and self-makeup workshops, as well as conversation circles, welcome groups and consultation with a nutritionist. The city already has Casa da Mulher units in Rasa and Cem Braças, and the Women's Secretariat plans to create a center in Alto da Boa Vista.
