Armação dos Búzios City Hall announced the approval of the Rasa UPA, which serves residents of the Rasa region and the surrounding area of the Polyclinic. The announcement was made by Mayor Alexandre Martins and the municipal secretary of Health, Leônidas Heringer.
With approval, the unit stops operating as a small emergency room and moves towards a UPA with a complete structure, with yellow room and red room beds, trauma care and X-ray service.
The new structure should relieve the Dr. Rodolpho Perissé Municipal Hospital. The city also foresees, in a next stage, the implementation of a new Polyclinic at the Health Center, in São José, near the hospital.
