The dispute for the two Senate seats in Rio de Janeiro reaches the final stretch with federal deputy Benedita da Silva (PT) in the lead, but still with a high percentage of voters without a defined choice. The Datafolha survey released this Saturday (3) shows the PT candidacy with 26% of valid votes, against 19% for Carlos Jordy (PL) and 18% for senator Carlos Portinho (PL). Pedro Paulo (PSD) has 13%, Mônica Benício (PSOL) 9% and Marcelo Crivella (Republicans) 6%. The margin of error is three points.
The data that draws attention is in the spontaneous survey, with no list of names: 46% said they still do not know who they will vote for, and Benedita was cited by 13%. The survey heard 2,010 voters between October 2 and 3 and is registered with the TSE. As each voter can choose two candidates, the votes will be distributed among the names competing for the two vacancies.
