The action was carried out by the Environmental Inspection Department, with support from the Environmental and Maritime (GOPAM) and District (GOD) Groups.
The person responsible for the structures was not identified. The area is within the limits of the Costa do Sol State Park, a conservation unit that covers stretches of the Rio de Janeiro coastline.
