Bernardo Manfredini, 13 years old, achieved grade A in the 1st Qualification Exam for the 2027 Entrance Exam at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (Uerj). A resident of São Pedro da Aldeia, he is in the 8th year of elementary school and answered more than 75% of the questions correctly.
The student took the test as a trainer, just to self-evaluate. Last year, at the age of 12, he had already reached the score necessary to pass the Mathematics course at the same university.
Without a course, Bernardo focuses his preparation on scientific mathematics olympiads and participates in additional training programs. The objective, according to him, is to prepare for the IME and ITA entrance exams.
